Restrictions: Limited to 4 pages, 1 Mb of memory, 10,000 characters (150 words), up to 4 photographs

Questions the submission should answer: The Chairman’s Award is presented to the team judged to have created the best partnership effort among team participants and which best exemplified the true meaning of FIRST through measurable impact on its participants, school, and community at large. There is no single “best way” for a team to win the Chairman’s Award. Many factors come into play. The primary factors the judges will evaluate are:
1. How strongly does the submission document the impact FIRST has on the learning experience of the students, school curriculum, engineers, and/or community?
2. Has the team explained/demonstrated why/how it should be a role model for other FIRST teams to emulate?
3. How well has the team communicated its excitement and impact within the entire school, community, and beyond (state/nation) through participation in FIRST?
4. Has the team documented an innovative way to spread the FIRST message?
5. How strong of a year-round team partnership effort is reflected? (You can define partnership in many ways, including: the partnership among the team’s students/corporate sponsor/engineers; school/university sponsor/engineers; students/adults; community/team)
6. As a whole, does the content of the documentation exemplify the true meaning of FIRST?
Theme: "Building A Foundation" - Our emphasis is on the fact that we're a rookie team, building a foundation for future years, making important contacts, setting up the different groups, a system of doing things, etc. Most importantly, because this award is about impact on community and people, we have to emphasize the beginning of partnerships that we've made, as well as future partnerships we would like to have.

Pictures: (We won't be using all of these, but they are our options...)
- One full team picture, posed, maybe with t-shirts. We don't have this yet.
- Two or three pictures of the process - one in Week 1, one in Week 3, one in Week 5
- One of community outreach - maybe of showing the edubot at the middle schools
- Maybe one of the fundraiser, or some other event
- Possibly another graphic related to media - of the KBEV graphics for instance
- Headshots of the student, parent, mentor who are writing blurbs

Page 2: "Taking measurements" - will include five days from "MORTORQ's DIARY" / Parents / The LJ Comm, reaching out to other teams, being sponsored

Page 4: "??" Something about planning for the future? - a section on goals / information about new science and technology center / Blurbs from a parent, a student, and a mentor (this will show the impact on individual people)
